Happy New Year! I hope everyone was able to ring in the new year with eager anticipation, a sip of fine wine, and maybe even a small dose of relief. December was eventful: my husband travelled for much longer than I would have liked, we took a few trips to the doctor’s office, accepted some forced naps (due to colds and flus), and delighted in some much needed time lounging at home in our jammies. I am glad to say I did not complete all the baking I had hoped to do, I never caught up on ironing, and I definitely did not run errands on my days off. I did, however, enjoy this holiday. I enjoyed couch time with Hazel. I enjoyed being in my home and having it finally start to feel like home. I enjoyed catching up on a (few…) Netflix series with my hubby. I enjoyed cozying up at my parent’s house for a great many breakfasts. It has been a lovely, lovely holiday. So lovely in fact, I wish I had another week simply at home!
The online shopping part is so true! Haha!
