Meet Megan Griffin of Bobana Boutique, a felt-floral-architect and mom of three. An OC native turned Tulsan, sought opportunity out of lack when she wanted to buy her daughter a floral crown for that monumental first birthday, but funds weren’t liquid. What to do? Turn lemons into lemonade. Or into flower crowns. Am I right?
Bobana Boutique was born December 2014 and has morphed into a flourishing Etsy shop. This endeavor has definitely challenged Megan: being a mom-preneur requires balancing two worlds, and ultimately, time. However, great challenge usually brings great joy. Megan has grown as an artist and business owner drawing inspiration from illustrations and colour companies such as Rifle Paper Co., Katie Daisy and Pantone. And what greater joy than seeing your product and designs being cherished by her clients – birthdays, weddings, vacations – and heck – even ice cream runs.
