You won’t find me wearing a lot of jewellery other than my staple studs and leather watch. I will add a necklace or bracelet here and there, but I’m definitely a less is more gal. I like pieces that can be dressed up and dressed down, but still leave me looking polished.
I’m always on the hunt for affordable and sendable gifts – I give a lot of gifts and the majority of my gifts are shipped across the world. I saw these Laurie Fleming emerald cut earrings at a local shop here in Calgary (Adorn Boutique) and had to find out more about the designer and her products. She has a wide range of jewellery – both in price and variety. Like the Vale bracelet, Beacen ring and the Magnea necklace.
A self-taught metalsmith (with a degree in design and at trained art director), Laurie started experimenting with jewellery while studying. She began to create not only jewellery, but narratives. Her pieces tell a story to each wearer of her collection. Each flowing piece, with organic lines and thoughtfully carved elements, enhance and adorn each woman.
I love promoting Canadian designers and Laurie Fleming
