The past two years I’ve found it overwhelmingly impossible to finish my Christmas shopping before Christmas Day. Last year, Baby Pete was born and was hospitalized throughout the first half of December. This year, we’ve had back-to-back illnesses, the constant juggle of naps, and school runs for the pre-schooler and kindergartener. No one warns you how hard this year is -little sleep for mama due to baby, the wrangling of three kids into car seats and making it to multiple schools on time while aiming for everyone to be mostly happy. #realreal
